The Boca, a historical DOC created in the 1969, is a fine wine of the tradition of Novara’s Hills. It born from the mix of three kind of grape: 75% of Nebbiolo, 20% of Vespolina, 5% of Uva Rara (Bonarda Novarese).
A long-lived wine that must necessarily be left to age and which, by choice of the company, matures and refines longer than the minimum 3 years imposed by the production disciplinary. A tannic wine, rich in salts, with a ruby red color tending to bright garnet; warm and dry on the palate, it is a pleasantly acid full-bodied wine that highlights the presence of tannins tending to sweet, an invitation to drink, leaving the mouth clean.
Attualmente l’annata in corso di Boca doc il rosso delle donne è la 2020. Ancora disponibile l’annata 2017 nelle due versioni: etichetta nera e bianca (senza solfiti aggiunti).
In Cantina custodiamo ancora una piccola preziosa riserva di annate storiche fino al 1996 con etichetta “il rosso delle donne” e fino al 1984 con etichetta tradizionale “castello” e alcune “artistiche”.
